Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

  1. Refunds for Change of Mind: Please make your purchase decisions carefully, as Gloria does not offer refunds for change of mind. We encourage our valued customers to reach out to our dedicated team if you have any queries regarding sizing, fabric, fit, or any other concerns. We are here to assist you in making an informed decision.

  2. Sale Items: Refunds are not available for sale items. We kindly request you to consider this before making a purchase.

  3. Exchanges: We want you to be delighted with your Gloria garment. If you find that the item you received doesn't meet your expectations or if you require a different size, we are happy to assist you with an exchange. Please contact our customer service team at showroom@gloria.nz, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note that size exchanges are subject to stock availability.

  4. Notification and Timeframe: To initiate an exchange, please notify us within 21 days of your purchase, providing proof of purchase. It is important to reach out to us within this timeframe to ensure a smooth exchange process.

  5. Buyer Satisfaction: We are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction as a valued Gloria customer. Our team is committed to working closely with you to address any concerns or issues that may arise. Your happiness and confidence in our garments are of utmost importance to us.

We take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our garments. In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty product, we are committed to rectifying the situation promptly. Please acquaint yourself with our policy regarding faulty items and refunds:

  1. Replacement or Refund: If you receive a faulty item, we will gladly replace it at no additional charge. In the rare instance where a replacement is not possible due to product unavailability, we will provide a full refund, including the original cost and any applicable shipping fees.

  2. Claims Procedure: To initiate a claim for a faulty item, please contact us within 21 days of your purchase, and kindly provide proof of purchase. We request that you email us at showroom@gloria.nz to notify us of the issue and to begin the claims process.

  3. Swift Resolution: We understand the importance of addressing faulty items promptly. Our dedicated team will work diligently to assess your claim and provide a resolution in a timely manner. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding throughout the process.

We offer our own repair and alterations services to take care of your garments. If you need adjustments like strap length, fixing loose buttons, or altering the hem, we can help. Our skilled team will handle these services with the same craftsmanship as when the garment was made.

We understand that your Gloria pieces are special to you, and we want to ensure they last. Prices for our repair and alterations services may vary, starting at approximately $30.00 NZD, depending on the specific service needed.

PERFUME


The Gloria perfume made in collaboration with Curionoir . Gloria is Extrait de Parfum, which is rich, dense, long lasting and dynamic on the skin. The Curionoir parfum collection is made in Aotearoa, mixed in Grasse, France and poured by hand at the Tāmaki Makaurau, perfumery.
Before purchasing we recommend, sampling the perfume either in our showroom, or to request a perfumed silk bracelet, which we will send you. Once a perfume bottle has been opened we are unable to offer a return or exchange. Our Gloria Fragrance is only available within New Zealand. We are unable to ship this item internationally.

 

CURRENCY

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

Please note that prices other than the NZD are converted automatically using the current market exchange rate. 

 

SHIPPING + DELIVERY

Gloria insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any delivered goods, at which point the responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. Gloria has no responsibility if parcels are lost, damaged, or stolen after delivery. Parcels are insured up to the point of delivery only.

Domestic Orders
We dispatch on the next business day following payment or sooner when possible. All sales are made in New Zealand dollars and include GST. For domestic orders allow 2-3 business days.

International Orders
All international deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes. Please be aware that our shipping costs do not account for any extra fees charged on arrival.
These fees are to be paid by the recipient of the package.
We dispatch orders on the next business day following payment or sooner when possible. All sales are made in New Zealand dollars and include GST. For international orders please allow at least 3-7 business days for delivery.
Gloria can ship to the following destinations - Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UK, and USA. Paypal is the online payment system that we use to ensure secured transactions when purchasing goods on our website. Paypal has a anti fraudulent team dedicated to keeping customers sensitive information safe.

Laybuy App
Gloria offers the Laybuy app. The Laybuy application allows you to pay off goods over 6 weeks, interest free, and with the benefit of having the item as soon as your first payment is made.
Payments are automatic and connected to a chosen debit or credit card.
If however, there is no money connected to your chosen payment method there will be a late fee of $10.00.

Returns and refunds when using the Laybuy app -
In the unfortunate case a refund is needed to be issued please let us know as soon as possible. The item will need to be sent back to us for assessment.

If a refund is required, we will issue this through the Laybuy application and send you confirmation once this has been done.
Please then allow Laybuy 3-5 working days to process your refunded payment.
If you have any further issues with the refunded payment please contact Laybuy.

 

POLi Pay
POLi enables customers to pay for products and services online directly from their bank account instead of using credit cards. There is no cost imposed by POLi on customers for the use of the POLi service. Your bank may apply fees for electronic funds transfers.
All communication via POLi takes place using HTTPS transport level security and no sensitive information is stored (not even cached).

Credit Notes
Credit notes will be issued in the form of a gift card that has its own unique code.
Credit notes are able to be used online or in our showroom.

❥❧ Custom orders ~
This is a bespoke service, offering maximum attention to your specific needs and ideas. Each consultation is conducted in our private Ponsonby showroom where samples are available to touch and try on, as well a range of amazing fabric options. We can create your special party piece; your dream wedding ensemble and bridesmaids party. We can also provide seasonal wardrobe assistance, and create stylish and practical pieces for business and corporate attire.
At Gloria, our special order service is a simple and refined process, and each piece priced on application which can vary depending on the scope and fabrication of the project. Once your order is confirmed, a 50% deposit is required to begin the production process. Please allow a minimum of eight weeks for your order to be completed. However as each project is unique and in some cases turnarounds can be faster; please contact us with your queries.
We are able make minor alterations to our designs and also custom our size range to suit you. Please note that some styles, such as denim and fully fashioned knitting cannot be produced as a one-off piece.
Our special order fabric selection is unique and nuanced, we source small batches from our suppliers and mills. Slight variants may naturally occur between fabric production runs.

 

Upon payment of deposit the Special Order process will begin and cannot be cancelled after this point. Gloria reserves the right to retain the 50% deposit for cancellation of a special order. All orders are accepted at the sole discretion of Gloria.

 

Pre-Orders
All pre-orders are required to be paid in full at the time of purchase. This will secure your order and ensure availability at the time of arrival. By making this purchase you are confirming that we do not accept cancellations or refunds on your order. If for any reason a style you have ordered does not fit, a swap or exchange will be considered depending on stock levels and availability.  Shipping is added to your order at the checkout online.
You will be given an ETA and contacted upon the arrival of your order.
Sometimes throughout the production process slight refinements are made to the pieces, if so, you will be notified.

 

Sizes
Our design ethos at Gloria is reflected in our fluid approach to sizing. Many of our pieces have been intentionally created to transcend conventional attitudes towards beauty and size. Some pieces are made in one size, intended for a very broad range of frames, and ways to wear; including before, during and after motherhood. For our other pieces that are better suited to a size range, we have created our own numerical sizing system. Please see our chart below as a general reference.

Online Sale Conditions
Please note, that while we do our best to depict the colour of each product as accurately as possible, there may be colour variation depending on lighting and individual computer screens. We cannot guarantee that a monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
Please make sure that you select the item(s) and size carefully when purchasing online as all sales are final. If you are having any issues with your online purchase please contact us right away and we will do our best to help to the best of our ability.

 

Stock availability
We do our utmost to keep our stock levels accurate, however there may be times when an item sells out dangerously fast! If you happen to purchase something online which is unavailable we will contact you to solve this as quickly as possible.

 

Garment Care
All pieces by Gloria are made in NZ by top crafts people and manufacturers. Each piece has gone through a number of pairs of hands and/or processes. Gloria uses fine fabrics and handmade production techniques which are made to be cherished and age beautifully with a little extra care. Please adhere to the garment care instructions on the labels when caring for your very special pieces and use your common sense.

 

Privacy Policy
Gloria respects your right to privacy. Accordingly, we do not share or sell your information to any third-parties. Any and all information collected by Gloria is used solely for the purpose of processing your order. Once you create an account with us, you are automatically included in our updates, newsletters and correspondences. To request to have your name removed from these correspondences, please click on the link attached to all emails sent out.
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time by changing or removing existing terms or adding new ones. Changes may take the form of a completely new Privacy Policy. We will tell you about any changes we make by posting an updated Privacy Policy on our website. Any change will apply as from the date such policy is posted.
